Petty joined Munchkin in May 2009.  Prior to joining Munchkin, Petty practiced litigation, corporate, and intellectual property law at various law firms in the Los Angeles area. Prior to starting her legal career, Petty worked as a Brand Manager for Procter & Gamble.  Petty received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a double minor in Business and Women's Studies from UCLA and her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.  In 2006, Petty was nominated for the "Rising Star" Award for the Los Angeles Business Journal.  For the past three years (2007-2009), Petty has been recognized as a "Rising Star" by Los Angeles Magazine - a distinction reserved for only 2.5 percent of California lawyers who are under 40 or who have been in practice for 10 years or less.  Petty has also been an MCLE speaker for the Pincus Professional Course - Practical Civil Procedure: Federal Law Clerks Teach the Nuts and Bolts of Federal Court Practice.  In her spare time, Petty enjoys running, traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
