2001 - Munchkin is granted its 25th United States patent
2002 - Munchkin's CEO featured in Fortune Magazine
Steven B. Dunn and his father, David Dunn, are featured in Fortune magazine that highlights Munchkin’s success.
2002 - Munchkin purchases the Healthflow® infant feeding line from Johnson & Johnson
In April 2002, Munchkin purchases the Healthflow® line of baby bottles, nipples, cups and related patents and trademarks from Johnson & Johnson. Munchkin redesigns, improves and expands the line with many new innovative features.
2002 - Munchkin and Nickelodeon sign their first licensing agreement
Munchkin and Nickelodeon begin their successful partnership with the initial launch of items using the Blue’s Clues™ property. The partnership has since expanded to include popular Nickelodeon properties such as Dora the Explorer™ and SpongeBob SquarePants™ across dozens of Munchkin products in the feeding, bath, care, travel and toy categories.
2004 - Munchkin opens Hong Kong office
Munchkin opens an office in Hong Kong to manage engineering and operational functions.
2004 - Bamboo is launched
Munchkin launches Bamboo, a pet division that applies the same level of care and creativity to the development of dog and cat toys, beds and grooming items.
2004 - Bamboo wins 5 awards
Within one year of launch, Bamboo wins 5 awards from prestigious consumer and industry publications.
