Our new brand identity, advertising and website, created by agency partner The UXB in 2006, is the recipient of 9 prestigious Davey and W3 Awards. The International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA) recognized Munchkin and The UXB with the prestigious Gold Award for the breakthrough penguin print ad featuring the CupsicleTM My First Straw Cup and seven additional Silver Davey Awards for outstanding branding, advertising, packaging and website design. There were over 3,500 entries in this international competition.
We also received a Silver W3 Award for exceptional website design in the Children's Category. This major web competition had entries from over 2,300 firms from around the world, including many Fortune 500 companies. Munchkin is the proud holder of 52 U.S. patents on products and over the past several years has garnered 33 awards for excellence in both products and marketing.
The UXB who developed the new campaign for Munchkin, introduced a new multi-colored logo, bright tonal boxes and breakthrough visuals featuring products in a clever way. The new campaign, featuring the tagline "It's the little thingsTM," made a real connection with moms everywhere.
