FLOCKS OF MUNCHKIN® PINK DUCKS SET OUT AGAIN THIS MOTHER’S DAY

NORTH HILLS, Calif., (May 8, 2007) - In support of moms everywhere and to further a cause important to all women, Munchkin, Inc. - maker of award-winning infant and toddler products - announces the return of Project Pink.  The successful breast cancer awareness campaign cleverly uses a limited edition pink bath ducky with the slogan "Don't Duck a Breast Exam" to get the word out about early detection and raise money to find a cure.

Beginning on Mother's Day, "flocks" of ducks are being released to celebrities to enlist their support by decorating and autographing a duck for an eBay auction during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. Adding to the excitement, pink ducks for consumer purchase will start waddling onto retail shelves nationwide in late September.  Thanks to the support of women across the country and celebrities like Reese Witherspoon, Matthew McConaughey, Janet Jackson and former First Lady Barbara Bush, over $30,000 was raised last year for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

"We would like to thank the celebrities who have offered their time and star influence in support of our Project Pink breast cancer campaign," said Doug Gillespie, Vice President, Marketing of Munchkin, Inc. Consumers who want to support Munchkin in its fight against breast cancer can go online to www.munchkin.com and keep their eye out for the launch of the Project Pink mini-site.  The site will have tips on how to help contribute and spread the "Don't Duck a Breast Exam" word to friends and family.

*Munchkin will donate to the Komen Foundation a minimum of $.20 or 100% of net proceeds (whichever is greater) for each non-celebrity-decorated pink duck sold, from June 1, 2007 through November 30, 2007, with a minimum guaranteed donation of $10,000.
