For more than 15 years, Munchkin has been a trusted brand that retailers and parents have depended on with confidence, and we work hard to maintain that trust. The safety and well-being of our consumers is our top priority.
All of our products are independently tested and meet or exceed the safety standards for our industry as established by both the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) International. We are constantly in touch with these national safety organizations to ensure we are up-to-date with clear scientific findings and any changes in regulations. In addition, follow-up tests are conducted on all of our products at periodic intervals after they launch to ensure each product's continued safety.
Q. Do any Munchkin products contain Bisphenol-A (BPA)?

Very few Munchkin products contain polycarbonate plastic, the source of BPA. While national safety organizations have reiterated their position that BPA is safe even at levels much higher than those at which infants are likely exposed, Munchkin wants all consumers to have full knowledge of product materials so that parents may make their own informed decisions about what is right for their children. For those few Munchkin items that do contain BPA, we are exploring non-polycarbonate plastic replacement materials. Q. Do your Tri-Flow bottles contain Bisphenol-A (BPA)?

Munchkin's Tri-Flow bottle is made from Polycarbonate Plastic, which can contain BPA. The nipple is made from silicone and the sealing disk is made from thermoplastic elastomer. While national safety organizations have reiterated their position that BPA is safe even at levels much higher than those at which infants are likely exposed, Munchkin wants all consumers to have full knowledge of product materials so that parents may make their own informed decisions about what is right for their children. We are currently exploring non-polycarbonate plastic replacement materials for the Tri-Flow bottles.

The majority of baby models on Munchkin advertising and packaging are contracted through local talent agencies. However, if you live in the Los Angeles area and are interested in submitting your baby’s photo for review to be considered for placement, please email your baby’s photo along with the baby’s date of birth and gender to babyphotos@munchkin.com.
