There is a White Hot Safety Disc which will turn white if the water is too hot (approximately 104°F / 40°C and above). If it turns white, mix in cold water until the dot turns blue again before placing baby on the cradle.

Allow water to cool down or add cold water until the original color returns to safety disc, indication a safe bathing temperature (approximately 98F/36.7C).
