1991 - Munchkin is founded.
Munchkin is founded by Steven B. Dunn to rid the world of tired and mundane products by developing clever, innovative products that excite and delight parents and children making parenting and life safer, easier and more enjoyable.
1992 - Munchkin achieves $15 Million in Sales
1995 - Munchkin wins its first award
Munchkin wins its first award in the “JPMA ‘Show Off’ Product Competition” for the 1-STEP Disposable Bottle System.
1995 - Munchkin is granted its 1st United States Patent
1997 - Munchkin introduces White Hot® technology
Munchkin creates and applies White Hot® technology to Soft Bite Spoons (spoons turn white if food is too hot), making ground-breaking news in the industry.
2001 - Munchkin is granted its 25th United States patent
2002 - Munchkin's CEO featured in Fortune Magazine
Steven B. Dunn and his father, David Dunn, are featured in Fortune magazine that highlights Munchkin’s success.
2002 - Munchkin purchases the Healthflow® infant feeding line from Johnson & Johnson
In April 2002, Munchkin purchases the Healthflow® line of baby bottles, nipples, cups and related patents and trademarks from Johnson & Johnson. Munchkin redesigns, improves and expands the line with many new innovative features.
2002 - Munchkin and Nickelodeon sign their first licensing agreement
Munchkin and Nickelodeon begin their successful partnership with the initial launch of items using the Blue’s Clues™ property. The partnership has since expanded to include popular Nickelodeon properties such as Dora the Explorer™ and SpongeBob SquarePants™ across dozens of Munchkin products in the feeding, bath, care, travel and toy categories.
2004 - Munchkin opens Hong Kong office
Munchkin opens an office in Hong Kong to manage engineering and operational functions.
2006 - Munchkin's new tagline
Munchkin refreshes its brand identity with the tagline, “It’s the little things,” which is a nod to the company’s name and a reference to all the detail, thought and little product improvements designed into every Munchkin product that add up to a big difference in parents’ lives.
2006 - Munchkin’s revamps its brand and packaging
Munchkin debuts a whole new look for the company with a multi-colored logo and bold colors that appeal to modern moms. The logo is displayed more prominently, reflecting growing interest from consumers in the Munchkin brand, and the stylish look pops off the store shelf.
2009 - Munchkin Partners with Arm & Hammer®
Munchkin partners with Arm & Hammer ® to develop a new line of deodorizing products for the nursery. The new deodorizing line seamlessly blends Munchkin's expertise in the infant care category with the proven odor-eliminating power of Arm & Hammer® baking soda to provide parents with a safe, natural and effective solution for their diaper changing needs. Products include Diaper Bag Dispenser & Disposable Bags, Disposable Changing Pads & Multi Use Pads soda, Fresh Totes, and the all new Arm & Hammer® Diaper Pail by Munchkin.
2009 - Munchkin hits its 11th consecutive year of greater than 20% growth
2009 - Chairman and CEO, Steven Dunn is awarded Entrepreneur of the Year for the Greater Los Angeles Area

Stylish Line of Safety Gates Meets or Exceeds Rigorous Safety Standards of both US and UK
2010 - Munchkin Announces Investment by Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan
The Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan acquired a significant minority stake of common stock in the company, reinforcing Munchkin's market-leading position.
2010 - Munchkin Expands In Europe with Acquisition of U.K.'s No. 1 Safety Brand for Babies
Munchkin acquires Lindam, the U.K.'s top baby safety brand and leading international developer of nursery products. The purchase adds Lindam's strong safety portfolio, including market-leading gates.
2010 - Munchkin Gains Rights To Sesame Street Feeding Business
Munchkin signed a multi-year alliance with Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street, to design an extensive line of feeding accessories featuring the beloved Muppets of Sesame Street.
2011 - Munchkin buys SaraBear Company
SaraBear® Diaper Caddies, A Popular Diapering Solution, Will Now be Sold as SaraBear by Munchkin®
2011 - Munchkin wins Target Partner of Excellence award for 2010
For the second time in its 20-year history, Munchkin wins the Target Partner of Excellence award.
2012 - Munchkin, Inc. named 2011 Vendor of the Year by Toys R Us and Babies R Us.
2012 - Prestigious award for innovation in juvenile products industry given to the Lullavibe vibrating mattress pad.
2014 - Munchkin, Inc. expands travel accessories and bath categories with acquisition of BRICA, Inc., the #1 travel accessories brand for babies.
2014 - Launched the mbaby apparel collection exclusively on Munchkin.com
