MUNCHKIN, INC. ANNOUNCES WINNER OF THE “WHICH VIDEO CLICKS?” CONTEST

Video to be Featured in Next Click LockTM Spill-Proof Cups Advertisement

NORTH HILLS, Calif. (August 17, 2012)—Munchkin, Inc., leading designer and manufacturer of clever infant and toddler products, today announced the winner of “Which Video Clicks?”—an online contest that asked Munchkin fans to vote for their favorite fan-produced video. The selected video, “Click It or Spill It,” created by Travis Taylor of Lexington, Ky., is included in the company’s Click Lock™ cup advertising campaign, which debuted earlier this month on www.BabyCenter.com.

Each of the submitted videos offer a fun representation of how our Click Lock™ cups really do make parents’ lives easier by helping to prevent life’s messy little accidents with a guaranteed leak-proof seal,” said Jeff Kaltreider, vice president, marketing, Munchkin, Inc. “We were thrilled with the response, as more than 700 families submitted videos for consideration, and thousands of Facebook fans cast votes for their favorite.”

Throughout the month-long contest, visitors to Munchkin’s Facebook page voted for one of four finalist videos posted. Each video featured an engaging, creative demonstration of how Click Lock™ sippy cups’ advanced design prevents unwanted leaks. In addition, weekly winners received free Click Lock™ spill-proof cups, and one lucky voter received a new iPod touch with video capabilities to capture special moments in his or her own child’s life.

The winning video, “Click It or Spill It,” captured more than 45 percent of the votes. It depicts an adorable boy making a huge mess with his drink in an open cup, when along comes a Click Lock™ toddler motorcycle ‘cop.’ The pint-sized officer issues a warning that the boy must “click it, or spill it,” while handing him the Click Lock™ spill-proof cup. All four of the finalists’ videos can be seen here.
