Teaching Kids Empathy with WildLove Miracle Cups

Leave the world better than you found it.

We’ve all heard this saying – or some variation of it – before. And now, Munchkin is empowering parents to start conversations with their kids about animal welfare and wildlife preservation with our new WildLove Miracle® cups. Bringing to life our ongoing commitment to animal welfare, these beautifully detailed cups feature beloved at-risk animals and child-friendly versions of the stories behind their plights.

When you purchase a WildLove Miracle® cup, you’re supporting our donations to IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare) and The Whale Sanctuary Project, two of our partner organizations that go above and beyond to save animals from extinction. We are humbled to do our part to aid in their vital, compassionate efforts. And you can too – one WildLove cup at a time.

As parents, it’s our responsibility to teach kids about the importance of protecting our planet. Instilling empathy and respect for animals gets them thinking about the greater good, and the world around them. Teachable moments are everywhere — around the dinner table, on a walk around the block, or while driving to school. The WildLove cups help facilitate the conversations in a kid-friendly way, with key facts about at-risk animals, including the polar bear, the red fox and the orca, to help raise awareness about the many challenges they face. And thanks to the vibrant colors and designs, kids gravitate to the cups even before they know the stories behind them, especially if they already have a love for animals.

The stories are compelling, heartbreaking, and imperative to share – no matter how young the audience. The Polar Bear sippy and trainer cups raise awareness about the threats they face, including shrinking sea ice caused by catastrophic climate change. The Red Fox Miracle® cups aim to help diminish cruel fox fur farming by encouraging families to avoid fur or fur-trimmed products. And the Orca WildLove cup supports the end of orca captivity for human entertainment while shedding light on the thousands of whales killed each year due to fishing net entanglement. Learn about our previous orca awareness efforts through Project Orca.

A spark starts with conversation and awareness. With WildLove, you can encourage kids to think beyond their backyards while feeding their imaginations (which are already wild!). Help unleash a love for wildlife conservation efforts and you may even be inspiring the next generation of passionate activists saving animals from harm.

Let’s raise our cups to protecting the planet for our kids and the generations ahead.
