We understand that you are continuing to show up for work without pay—and that for some, the strain has become deeply personal, even forcing difficult choices about where to sleep and how to make ends meet.

For families with infants, that burden is even heavier.

Babies should not be affected by a government shutdown. No parent should have to worry about whether they can feed their child.

Munchkin would like to help in a simple, practical way. For TSA families with babies at home who are affected by the current lapse in pay, we will provide one can of formula per week, for as long as pay is disrupted.

We estimate that there may be around 5,000 families in this situation, and our goal is to make sure each of those babies has formula in their bottle during this time.

We will do our best to ship your formula as quickly as possible, often the same day. It’s about making sure that, in a moment of uncertainty, the most basic need—feeding a baby—is one less thing to worry about.
